The Personnel Committee is responsible for all matters relating to the employed Council personnel, their duties are to review the staff’s Terms of Reference, Contracts, to undertake staff appraisals, consider any salary negotiations and make recommendations to full council, disciplinary issues, and other HR matters.
The committee is made up of the Chairman of the Council, Chairman of Playing Fields, and Chairman of Box Hill & Rudloe Open Spaces plus one other councillor, who is nominated at the start of the council term of office. They meet once a quarter to discuss any matters arising for the personnel, any confidential items on the agenda are taken under closed session, and not open to the public.
