Poppy Appeal 2024
Every penny of your donations given during the annual Poppy Appeal fortnight and throughout the year goes directly towards the valuable work of supporting serving personnel, their families and our veterans.
The Poppy Appeal fundraising year runs from the 1st October until 30th September. The Corsham District comprises of the following town/villages: Corsham, Biddestone & Slaughterford, Box, Castle Combe, Gastard, Great Somerford, Neston and Yatton Keynell.
As the Poppy Appeal Organiser for the Corsham District, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the 2024 Poppy Appeal which raised an amazing
£30,070.51
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the schools, shops and businesses who support the Poppy Appeal each year by having collection pots and Poppies. Also, my thanks to the volunteers who distribute the collection pots and help at the stands we have during the Appeal fortnight.

Starting at 09:45 on the Lower Common, below the Quarryman's Arms.
Rudloe Litter Picks are also scheduled for the first Sunday of each month.
The start point is the junction of Leafy Lane and Boxfields Road at 10:00.
